Before spring break I had you split into groups to discuss and create a poem about an essay from the textbook's chapter about consumerism.
For this week, please view these two videos about sustainability efforts. The first is entitled "Using Nature's Genius in Architecture," the second, "The Route to a Sustainable Future"
In 400 words, do not do not do not give me a synopsis of what happens in these videos, but instead suggest what these developments might contribute to or, conversely if you find a problem, what they may hinder or detract from in our society as a whole.
Also, I'd like for you to articulate your thoughts on the connection between consumerism and sustainability.
Finally, suggest a sustainable object of your own invention. Tell me what it is, what it does and how it contributes to a sustainable world.
This post will be due on Friday (3/29) by 11am
