Graphic Humanization

Aaron Koblin has allowed individuals to experience the ongoing social trends occurring across the world on a unique spectrum. Using random data records, he is able to create realistic visuals of humanity through technological devices and other sources. These artistic displays illustrate reality and what humans are actually doing around the world on a day-to-day basis. His work allows people to better understand our culture through a digital picture or representation. The visual of the airplanes flying across the United States during a twenty-four hour period is very fascinating. It explains that humans are adventurous, dedicated, and very busy due to the stressful work loads nowadays. Humanity has undoubtedly shifted throughout history and is now in an age in which we are constantly active and demanding individuals. Interfaces are indeed going to take over and soon dominate the 21st century just as movies and novels ruled during their prime. Technology is becoming a sole innovation that we are dependent on and rely most heavily on because of its conveniences. With more knowledge in the near future, our generation may soon be filled with crazy animations and artistic displays like the experiments discussed in this video.  Another convincing point this video explains is that individuals think differently and hold opposing views on certain issues. They are unique in their own way and interpret things differently. This is fully clarified in Aaron Koblin’s sheep experiment and sound experiment. The sheep drawings were all different from one another and some individuals would spend a lot of time to focus on their drawing, while others only took 5 seconds to draw their picture.  The sound experiment illustrated the distinctive sound interpretations people heard followed by them repeating the noise they heard. These experiments are important because they help mark technology as it relates to our expressions through art and will also help record these changes for our future society. These experiments will help our future generations further understand how technology has affected our art culture. Technology in our age allows individuals to express themselves through art and share it with the global community by simply uploading it to the Internet. This adds dimension to our culture because it allows virtually all individuals to express themselves and share it with the world. The video is able to grasp this idea and give us an accurate picture of the many perspectives we now have access to because of todays technology.
