Preserving Humanity

This video revealed some truly astounding things and showed the amazing results that can occur when human creativity and new age technology collaborate and come together. What was most interesting to me, however, was the way in which this new technology was able to bring people together. It was able to connect people to work on things that previously never could have even been fathomed. Using the various programs and technologies, the presenter was able to perfectly demonstrate the way that technology should and should continue to be used into the future. This presentation helped show that just because technology is great and can do very powerful things, we cannot just abandon our humanity and forget about everything that humans themselves can still contribute. To me, it hammered home the fact that humans can enhance technology and make it better, just as technology aids humans today. It also made a strong point that we as humans should not let technology overshadow the amazing things that are unique to humans and simply cannot be recreated by machines. No matter how amazing and wonderful our technology may become, we must remember that nothing can overshadow the human brain. A human’s creativity is one of a kind and will never be recreated, and something that sets us apart from everything else in the world. That is the reason why this presentation was so amazing; it was able to highlight the creativity that we all have inside us and tie it in with cutting edge technology to display it. By combining these two things a beautiful product is formed. This product is able to combine the great aspects of both humans and technology and even uses our technology to display our creativity in a new way. It truly lets humans unleash their true potential by combining the technical aspects that we have been able to develop with the creativity we possess and cannot be recreated.

Another aspect of this presentation that I found fascinating was the way that technology was able to bring people together. The projects that he highlighted illustrated the ways that technology can actually help us become more human. He was able to bring people from all across the globe together to complete a common goal by using the vast technology available to us today. By bringing people together and combining everything amazing that humans created, it actually helps show how different each person really is and what each human can contribute. Ironically enough, these projects are essentially using technology to preserve humanity and causing us to be more human in the process.
